A step-by-step guide and important reminders
STEP 1
Twist both handles into place at the bottom two points on the Reliefboard. Screw your chosen peg into the top attachment point to target your upper back, or the middle attachment point to target your lower back.
Although there are two peg attachment points, we recommend using one peg in one attachment point at a time.
STEP 2
Stand with your back close to a wall, holding the Reliefboard behind you with the handles and peg facing you and the flat side of the Reliefboard against the wall.
STEP 3
Using the handles either side of your waist, position the board so your chosen peg is against the tension or pain point. Ensure you are targeting the muscles in your back. The Reliefboard should not be used directly against the spine or any other bone.
Lean back into the Reliefboard for 30-60 seconds, breathing slowly through any pain as this may increase as pressure is applied and tension is released. The more you lean into the Reliefboard the more pressure you will apply to the desired muscle.
Do not fit two pegs on the board at the same time as this will hinder your ability to relax into the board.
The Reliefboard should not be used directly against the spine or any other bone. It should only be used on muscle.
"I've tried everything. Tennis balls in socks, spiky balls but nothing works. Then I heard about the Reliefboard. And Wow! A few minutes using this and for the first time I received natural, powerful relief." - Verified Purchaser
Why the Reliefboard exists
It started with a simple request: “Can you press here?”
My partner suffered with painful tension in her back and neck.
The kind that constantly distracted you and refused to let you relax.
So she asked me to help.
Her instructions would allow me to pinpoint her pain.
“A bit higher.”
“To the right.”
I would press my thumb really hard into the area that was sore.
And it worked.
I could relieve her pain and tension.
The problem was…
I wasn’t always there.
And when I was there, the massages went on long enough that my hands and arms started to ache.
So I decided to build a solution.
After a few visits to my workshop, the first Reliefboard was born.
A wooden board designed to easily target her pain points and apply pressure to ease her tension.
But she didn’t just use it occasionally.
It became her go-to tool.
Because suddenly she had complete control:
The exact pressure, in the exact spot, for the exact amount of time she wanted.
No waiting for someone to help.
No achey thumbs.
Just relief - whenever she needed it.
Soon her friends began using it too.
Many of them worked in the care industry, where long hours and physical work often meant sore backs and tight shoulders.
And they kept coming back to the Reliefboard.
That’s when the thought hit me:
If it helps them this much… it could help a lot of people.
So that’s why the Reliefboard exists today.
It wasn’t designed in a boardroom.
It was created in a workshop,
tested at home,
and relied on by real people.
My hope is simple: That it helps you get the same relief she still enjoys today.
